Trend 02:25
It all started out so well with good intentions At one point they all meant well Now people use it to gain attention The way some people are - they just don't want to miss the boat At times I sit back and I think we might be better off In a dead man's float Striving to be different and stand out from the rest But you just like the trend You think this is a game? Well you do not pass the test 'Cuz this is not a trend You're wearing a shirt to show your pride and smoking on the side? 'Cuz this is just your trend Then you go out drinking on the weekends While you say your down until the end It's just a cover up You're supporting your old habits Not trying to make a difference This is just a trend Will it ever end? You're a false influence among your peers (There's rap part here...) You see me as arrogant - but I know what is true I would just like to keep our scene free from exploitation This is something to be committed to of your own freewill And not just because it's the next train happening on through 'Cuz in my heart and in my head This Is Not A Trend!

Insight 02:08
The way you chose to live your life It's up to you - don't let anyone confuse you Strive to keep an open mind - don't hide behind Any lies They feed you Lies lead to ignorance - past experience shows IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS The truth is in sight Stand up for what you feel is right Block out other's judgements past And lead yourself down a path of Reconstruction Far from self destruction Down a path that leads to light IN SIGHT is the truth The truth is INSIGHT INCITE is the truth Don't let other people hold you down or hold you back Stick with what's inside With what you believe With your insight Stick with what's inside Stick with your insight It leads to light

You Will 01:05
Times are changing - can't you see? All the anguish inside me From you living in the past It's the here and now that lasts CHANGE THE WAY - YOU WILL VIEW ME! On the outside Step to me - take a closer look KNOW ME! On the inside Readjust your negative outlook CHANGE THE WAY - YOU WILL - VIEW ME! There's a problem here We don't see eye to eye There's no need for confrontation - we all bleed CHANGE THE WAY THAT YOU VIEW ME! Times are changing could it be? That you judge by what you see What your told is what is true Step to the side - take a different view And what you Now See Is What Must Be CHANGE THE WAY THAT YOU WILL VIEW ME (...garblegarblegarblegarble...)

6.
Constantly at war with you Over what is expected of me Trying to live up to your expectations You'd like me to be a duplicate Of others that have come and gone But the logic behind your dream Clearly shows there will be no progression You want change I just want acceptance and understanding That my conforming to your ways would not be justified Where do I stand? Not by your side There's no way I've got my pride GIVE ME MY SPACE This is who I am why can't you deal? Why do you try to contort me into what is not real? Why can't you be open-minded and accepting of me? Why can't you be... THIS IS MY SPACE This is who I am why can't you deal? Why do you try to contort me into what is not real? Why can't you be open-minded and accepting of me? Why can't you see... This is who I am Why can't you just be more open-minded? Once again we stand in confrontation But I know there will be no victory Without Communication
